The Summer Chorus is accepting 2nd - 12th grade treble singers from the Merrimack Valley Region for a week of music and community!

2026 Summer Chorus

    When and Where

    The Summer Chorus will take place at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts.

    Rehearsals: Monday, August 3rd - Friday, August 7th, from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

    Guest Conductor: Dr. Rollo A. Dilworth

    Concert: Friday, August 7th at 2:00 PM

    National Anthem Performance: Sunday, August 9th at Fenway Park

    Who

    The Summer Chorus welcomes incoming 2nd through 12th-grade treble singers from the Merrimack Valley Region who:

    - Sing with their head voice

    - Accurately match pitch

    - Sing with excellent tone quality and breath support

    - Receive feedback and adapt to cues of a conductor

    - Demonstrate excellent rehearsal etiquette

    What

    The Summer Chorus will bring together young singers to:

    - Develop vocal skills and technique

    - Build musicianship and ensemble skills

    - Older singers will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles throughout the week

    - Learn and perform diverse repertoire

    - Promote personal expression and growth

    - Prepare for two culminating performances

    - Have fun and create community
