    When and Where

    This six-week class will meet on Saturday mornings at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts from 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM

    Who

    This class is open to current CCC singers and members of the wider community in Grades 2–6. No previous music-reading experience is required.

    This course is ideal for singers who want to:

    - Build confidence reading music

    - Strengthen their listening and pitch-matching skills

    - Become more independent choral musicians

  • What

    Through singing, games, improvisation, and written activities, students will strengthen their music-literacy skills.

    During this six-week course, singers will:

    - Read rhythms and melodies in staff notation

    - Develop their ears and learn to hear melodies internally

    - Practice writing pitches and rhythms

    - Learn new choral music more quickly and accurately
