    When and Where

    This 6-week class will meet on Saturdays at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts from 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM

    Who

    This class is open to current CCC singers and members of the wider community in Grades 2–6.

    This course is ideal for singers who want to:

    - Build confidence reading music

    - Strengthen their listening and pitch-matching skills

    - Become more independent choral musicians

    - No previous music-reading experience is required

  • What

    Through singing, games, improvisation, and written activities, singers will strengthen their music-literacy skills.

    During this six-week course, singers will:

    - Read rhythms and melodies in traditional notation

    - Develop their ears and learn to audiate melodies and harmonies

    - Practice writing pitches and rhythms

    - Allow singers to learn new choral music more quickly and accurately in our rehearsals
